On June 1st, 2025, SERIS FOUDATION officially launched the Science and Technology Youth Summit 2025 in Dar es Salaam, a visionary initiative aimed at empowering young Tanzanians—especially engineers, innovators, and aspiring tech leaders. The summit provided a national platform for youth to engage with key stakeholders, policymakers, and professionals in engineering, ICT, architecture, and entrepreneurship. Discussions focused on practical innovation, youth-led development, and the role of science and technology in shaping sustainable futures. As a youth-driven organization dedicated to empowerment, innovation, and social impact, the Save Youth Dream Foundation (SYDF) was honored to participate in this transformative event. Our team took part in sessions that explored the challenges and opportunities facing young professionals in technical fields. Through this engagement, SYDF was able to highlight our ongoing work with young entrepreneurs, advocate for the inclusion of marginalized groups, and build meaningful partnerships that will strengthen our future initiatives. Our participation in the summit reaffirmed SYDF’s commitment to equipping Tanzanian youth with the tools, networks, and knowledge they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. We are grateful to SERIS FOUNDATION for creating this platform and look forward to continued collaboration in nurturing a generation of skilled, innovative, and socially conscious young leaders.
